Using Circles in Unique Ways in your Next Design

There is no denying the circle’s place in history – everyone knows that the invention of the wheel literally moved human evolution forward from its previous position of walking while carrying objects. As a design element, the circle signifies many things; completion, wholeness – even spirituality. In architecture, the circle really provides the most economical form of shelter. Round houses are used in the Arctic and at the equator. Whether it’s for comfort, for economy, for children’s cartoon characters, or to illustrate that star above we call the sun, circles are an intriguing and surprisingly delightful shape when used in design.
