Interior design is much more than a land based activity – it also extends to the high seas. Depending on your thoughts on global warming we could be designing quite a bit of interiors for water bound vessels once the polar ice caps meet their demise and we’re up to our necks in H2O. But putting those gloomy prognostications aside for the moment, the designing of a boat’s interior can be as thoughtful and detailed as any luxury home. This will be made quite evident at this year’s 51st annual Fort Launderdale International Boat Show taking place in Fort Lauderdale, FL on Thursday, October 28 and going until November 1.
The boat show is a chance to take a look at some of the fixtures and architectural products that transform boats and yachts into luxurious living spaces. A wide variety of boats and sea vessels will be on display including runabouts, sportfishers, high performance boats, center consoles, cabin cruisers, flats boats, skiffs, express cruisers, sailing yachts, motor yachts, bowriders, catamarans, ski boats, jet boats, trawlers, inflatables, canoes, and extraordinary superyachts.
