Hello from Bologna, Italy! While attending this year’s Cersaie we’ve gotten a chance to explore this beautiful city with a rich cultural tradition in art, history, and cuisine. Here are some of the highlights from our trip so far:

Bologna is the largest city in Northern Italy and well-known for its art galleries, museums and basilicas. The Piazza Maggiore, Italy’s largest public square, is located in the heart of the city and surrounded by some of Italy’s oldest and most historical buildings, including the Basilica of San Petronio, and the City Hall Building. If you are ever in Bologna, the square is a must see destination!

While known for its historical landmarks, Bologna is perhaps most famous for its cuisine. Prosciutto, Parmesan cheese, lasagna, balsamic vinegar and Bolognese sauce all originated from this spectacular city. No wonder every meal we’ve eaten here has been mouthwatering delicious.

With only a few days left of Cersaie, we still have a lot more to see and places to explore. With the endless number of museums, galleries, art exhibitions and landmarks, there is never a dull moment in this city!
